Artwork for The Softwire's Rings of Orbis
Dwayne Harris
Dwayne was a nice surprise. I needed someone to create a lot of art for me quickly without sacrificing quality. Dwayne was the man. He's been creating knudniks for me faster that I can say next and each one is better than the last one. The was his work on the Nagool master, Strecca.

Strecca is the live video avatar on the Rings of Orbis website. Of Dwayne's illustrations this was the one we spent the most time on. We needed to keep this as close to a real person while still creating a "mermaid" like body.

Dwayne and I went through a few renditions going back and forth on almost every feature.

Nagool masters are very powerful. They study OIO and live their lives aligning with the cosmic energies of the universe. I wanted to show this mystery in every aspect of this character.

In this sketch we were trying to find a middle ground with the hands and her pose.

In the end we were all really happy with the outcome, even the live model.

The OIO emblem in the dress was a nice touch.
