PJ Haarsma's Author Visits.

Combine art and science for your kids with a visit from PJ.

The Event

The presentation lasts 50 minutes plus time for questions. Large assemblies are preferred as there is much group participation. (Gymnasium, multipurpose room, and auditoriums are best.) PJ will arrive 30 minutes prior to the event to help setup and is avaialble to personal books after the event.

Preparation

The event will be more rewarding if the children already know something about The Softwire. Read the book out loud to the children and direct them to the website where there is a wealth of story information.

Prepare the children with questions about the science in the novel.

PJ will need...

A projector, a screen and a DVD player. (Something to play DVDs)
A microphone.

Fees/Honorariums

All travel expenses outside of the southern California area are extra. PJ is always available to attend several schools in your area to help offset travel costs.

And...

Once the date for a visit is set, please send the following to PJ:

- A confirmation letter in writing including dates and fees.
- A schedule for the days event in writing.
- Address of your school with contact number.
