Meet friends. Play games. Own aliens. Rule the universe!

The Rings of Orbis role playing game is based on PJ Haarsma's Softwire novels now in bookstores. As each new book arrives, the game will expand by one ring and four planets.

While the book takes the point of view of the first human slaves (knudniks) to arrive on the rings, the game takes the point of view of the Citizens. Choose one of your favorite alien races from this story and dominate this virtual world to be the most powerful Citizen on the Rings of Orbis.

The Softwire and it's game the Rings of Orbis were featured in the prestigious ALAN Journal - click here to read the article.
This is not a "pick-up-a-gun-and-go-kill-each-other-game". It is a real-time, life management game were players become an active member of the society. Players are encouraged to read the book in order to advance within the game and they must answer questions from the book to unlock certain areas.

"For me the game has been the most amazing way to connect with fans of The Softwire. It has also provided a platform to keep readers engaged as they wait for the next book in the series. I love it when parents email me and tell me that, "I don't like it when my boy plays video games, but at least with your game he has a book in his hand!"

PJ also created the Card Soldier Wars for his friend, Frank Beddor, based on Frank's best selling novel, The Looking Glass Wars.
