Combine art and science for your kids with a visit from PJ.
The Event
After a discussion with the teacher or librarian, PJ will plan his presentation around the educator's needs as well as the school's schedule and class times. A visit can includes two presentations each one lasting an hour with time for questions. Large assemblies are preferred as there is much group participation.
Preparation
The event will be more rewarding if the children already know something about The Softwire. Read the book out loud to the children and direct them to the website where there is a wealth of story information.
Prepare the children with questions about the science in the novel.
PJ will need...
A projector, screen and DVD player.
Microphone for large audiences.
Fees/Honorariums
FREE - for the remainder of this school year in southern California.
All travel expenses outside of the southern California area are extra unless discussed otherwise. PJ is always available to attend several schools in your area to help offset travel costs.
And...
Once the date for a visit is set, please send the following to PJ:
- A confirmation letter in writing including dates and fees.
- A schedule for the days event in writing.
- Address of your school with contact number.
